The Mercer Super Trust KiwiSaver scheme is a long-term savings scheme designed to make saving for you retirement easy. By joining the Mercer Super Trust KiwiSaver scheme you will receive all the benefits of KiwiSaver, as well as know that your funds are invested with one of New Zealand’s leading superannuation and KiwiSaver providers.

The Mercer Super Trust KiwiSaver scheme is open to anyone who would like to join the scheme with a provider, and to employers who want to establish a KiwiSaver plan for their employees.

The Scheme offers a range of different investment options to suit most types of investor, with competitive performance results – from Cash to Global Shares - so you can choose the option or options that best suit your needs.

Although most investments carry some level of risk, having a choice of investment options means that you can help control how much risk you want to take. Whatever your risk profile, Mercer Super Trust KiwiSaver scheme offers diversity and flexibility to accommodate your needs with 15 investment options to choose from.

You can diversify your investments across more than one option if you wish, and use different options for existing balances and future contributions. You also have the freedom to switch from one option to another (with no switching fee), as your needs change.

The Mercer KiwiSaver scheme is one of only six Government-selected default provider schemes. All default providers were required by the Government to meet strict criteria. These include ensuring they have the expertise and ability to provide a solid KiwiSaver scheme and competitive fees.

Members who do not actively choose a KiwiSaver provider will automatically be defaulted in to one of the six schemes including the Mercer KiwiSaver scheme.

The Mercer KiwiSaver scheme offers you a choice of four investment options and some of the lowest fees available. There are no hidden charges such as entry or exit fees or option change fees. Being a default scheme also means that there are restrictions on fee increases for this scheme.
