Model audit is the primary business focus of Mercer’s finance and risk consulting division.  We specialise in the audit of the formulae, logic and mathematical configuration of operational and financial models developed for project finance, infrastructure development, PPP/PFI, property & infrastructure funds, structured finance, securitisations and mergers & acquisitions.

Retail banking consulting

The Finance & Risk Consulting division of Mercer has extensive experience in providing advice to retail banks on issues relating to the Consumer Credit Code (CCC).  Mercer’s actuarial and mathematical expertise positions us ideally to assist banks to comply with the CCC. Mercer an also assist on other non-compliance issues such as web-based calculators, product design and risk analysis for example on various equity release products.

Share-Based Payment (SBP) valuation services

We have also created a range of web based calculators for use in the Australian and New Zealand superannuation industry.
